Services

  • On site surveys, audits and advice – We welcome the opportunity to discuss with our customers any aspect of their network, especially network security and storage issues. We do not charge for initial meetings or audits.
  • Full support and help desk - We offer service packages from standard Mon to Fri business hours to 365 days per year, 24 hours per day. Very often different parts of the system require different levels of support and we are pleased to advise.
  • Hardware Maintenance – Packages available from 3 months to 5 years on all security and storage hardware. Cover ranges from 4 hour response, 24 hours per day, to next business day parts delivered by courier. Maintenance is designed around the critical nature of your system.

  • Subscription Service – We offer a managed or unmanaged service, depending on the level of technical expertise available at the installation.

  • Installation – Once our on-site engineer has completed the work we will provide clients with a detailed report of all work carried out. This includes all serial numbers, configuration details, IP addresses, etc (the report will be sent within 3 to 5 days of work being completed).
  • Upgrades - We offer a full upgrade service for your network as required. A 'buy back', 'trade in' or disposal service is offered on some brands and products.
  • Network traffic, usage and analysis - Using 'Sniffers' and other specialist equipment we can 'listen' to your network and determine where bottlenecks and conflicts are, and make recommendations to overcome these.
  • Managed Services - A full range of managed services is available including:  
  1. managed server hosting
  2. managed web hosting
  3. managed database hosting
  4. managed server and application hosting
  5. managed microsoft exchange server hosting
  6. managed remote server backup

 

  • Online backup and recovery - 24/7 backup on line service available to ensure secure backup and recovery.
  • Disaster Recovery - Full recovery service available.
  • Consultancy - Our clients involve us at various stages and we are happy with as much or as little involvement as you wish, from initial appraisal to full project management. We offer our clients a variety of time and payment options, e.g. day rates, half/part day, monthly or quarterly billing, blanket PO, fixed price contracts, all to suit our clients. Initial discussions and concepts are free of charge. We produce detailed technical proposals and will not baffle you with science.
  • Repairs – We offer repairs on virtually all hardware and can offer either advance replacements or we can repair clients’ own equipment. All repairs carry a 12 month warranty and full technical support as appropriate
  • Importation - We import products from around the globe and have our own freight forwarders and customs contacts. We can express ship by air or offer a cost effective sea freight service, all handled by ourselves, so there is no complicated  form filling, customs paperwork or import tax and VAT for you , the customer.

  • Cabling – In addition to the everyday networking cables, patch leads, VGA cables etc, we can design specialist cables such as multi-cable wiring looms and harnesses with specific cable labeling, colour coding etc.

  • Training – Different types of training are available to suit the varied needs of our clients. We offer a general overview on specific product ranges and technologies aimed at sales or technical people, either on an individual or team/group basis. Alternatively, we offer tailored courses to build upon the particular skills that individuals may have. Finally, we offer individual ‘hands on’ training on new systems we have installed.

  • Product search – We are experts at finding products which are difficult to source through the usual channels. Just give us a part number and we will research our extensive supplier database. We don’t just send a mass email, we call strategic suppliers, search stock lists, not only in UK but Europe, USA and Far East. We can often source End of Life (EOL) products as well by contacting suppliers and using our relationships with manufacturers.

  • Refurbished products – We can offer refurbished kit on many products. Very often the refurbished kit we obtain is ex-demonstration kit which cannot be sold as new or it has sub standard packaging. All kit comes with 12 months warranty, and is fully supported by our technical support team.

  • Legacy equipment – Legacy products by definition are either no longer available,‘end of life’, or are no longer supported by the manufacturer. We maintain an extensive technical library on many such products and are able to offer support or maintenance contracts to clients who have such products as part of their network. This enables extra life to be gained from such a network before extra expenditure is incurred to upgrade. In many cases there is no direct replacement and if the equipment is not ‘mission critical’ then a simple support or maintenance contract with us can make economic sense and offer peace of mind. We offer flexible contracts, available from 3 months to 5 years.

  • Evaluation service – We can offer our larger clients trial products for an agreed period of time. We research the market for alternatives or suitable options and our ‘Try or Buy’ scheme allows clients to try the product first before committing to it. We will work with you to find the most suitable solution to match your requirements.
  • Document storage and scanning service - For customers wishing to reduce their archived physical storage by utilising electronic filing, then we are pleased to help.

Please note that all our installation, service, maintenance and support work is fully guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. In some cases further guarantees may be offered for 2, 3 and 5 years.
